Despite all of the PLG hype, most enterprise b2b product teams have not even begun the journey to adopt PLG.

If you happen to ask B2B Enterprise product managers, they will acknowledge PLG (product led growth) phenomenon. Yet, only very few have rolled out any PLG motion in their product.

It is not as if B2B product managers have an animosity towards PLG. It is just that PLG motion is upsetting 3 decades of traditional B2B product management wisdom.

Most likely, they are contemplating the answers of either or both of these questions.

B2B buyers are experts unlike B2C buyers?

A core tenet of B2B product management was to assume the expertise of buyers and that such buyers were expected to handle complex configuration tasks with ease.
